German and Czech heavy machine tools — WMW Niles, Barthize, Wetzel and TOS — with DRO on the turning and boring machines, served by a 4 MT overhead crane. Proof machining and finish machining both run in the same 3,000 sq ft covered bay.

The King Engineering Company was established on 20 June 2017 to machine and supply steel and alloy castings for foundries and for customers in the valve, minerals process, mining, cement and quarry industries. The works is owned, covered and served by its own overhead crane.
